Activist of the Party of People’s Front of Azerbaijan (PPFA) Shahin Hajiyev was detained by Ganja city police on November 26, this was reported to Turan by the PPFA. The same source added that his house was searched.

PPFA leader Ali Kerimli believes that Hajiyev is being persecuted for political reasons. According to him, this year alone, Hajiyev has been detained by police several times and twice subjected to administrative arrests for 30 days.
