“ATV INTERNATIONAL” RECEIVES SIX YEAR LICENSE

Yesterday, 5 March, during a meeting conducted by the National TV and Radio Council (NTRC), a six year license was granted to “ATV International.” “Azad Azerbaijan” TV and Radio Broadcasting Company (ATV) News Department Head Natig Ibrahimov told this to the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety (IRFS).

The new TV channel was given to ATV because it has super news ratings, according to Ibrahimov.
N. Ibrahimov added that the aim of this channel, which will be broadcast in Azeri, Russian, Turkish, Persian, English and Armenian languages, is to deliver news about events in socio-political, economic, and cultural areas of Azerbaijan to the world community and to promote Azerbaijani values.
