“CHAP EVY” PUBLISHING HOUSE WILL NOT OPERATE ON SUNDAYS

Starting this week “Chap Evy” Printing House will only operate six days a week, ceasing operations on Sunday.

“Chap Evy” Director Shahbaz Khuduoglu told the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety, “The decision to switch to a six day work week was adopted because equipment in some sections no longer work.” Khuduoglu, emphasizing the “Chap Evy” equipment is very old, said that Sundays will be spent maintaining equipment.
Recall that a number of newspapers, including “Yeni Musavat,” “Baki Khabar,” and “Baki Zaman,” which publish on Mondays will now face problems. However, most printing houses in Azerbaijan do not operate on Sundays, and those that do may not be willing to print opposition and independent publications.
