Gafar Cabiyev, National Television and Radio Council representative gave an interview to “Trend” Agency.
In his interview Cabiyev noted that, “proposal envelope on getting authority regarding short term stoppage of television broadcasting has already been prepared and introduced to Azerbaijan government”. According to the proposal, if any television channel breaks the law, its broadcasting will be banned for short term or for some days. He also added that, the changes for “Television and radio broadcasting” law can be put forth for discourse during spring session of the Parliament.
