On 14 April 2009, in the Narimanov District Court, a preliminary hearing was conducted on the defamation lawsuit of Irina Huseynova against “Khural” Newspaper.
“Khural” Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Avaz Zeynalli told this to the Institute for Reporter’s Freedom and Safety. According Zeynalli, the court did not accept the case for consideration.
