SAMIR SADAGATOGLU GOES TO POLICE DEPARTMENT AGAIN

“Senet” Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Samir Sadagatoglu, who was called to the Lankeran City Police Department yesterday (23 April), was invited to the police department again today (24 April).

Samir reported this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety.

“The investigator Fuad Aliyev was not in the department; that is why I talked to the chief of the department Ilham Huseynov. Huseynov stated that there’s no problem with me being invited to the department and the problem will be solved,” he said.
During the journalist’s time at the Lankeran City Police Department yesterday, he was told that a complaint was received about him. When the journalist demanded to see the complaint letter, the police said that no written complaint about him was submitted to the department; but he was named in the statement on another person who was called in to the police department in connection with a complaint.
