“Media and Civil Society” Public Union has established the Southern Media Resource Center in Lankaran City.
The Chairman of the public union Khanoglan Ahmadov told APA that the goal of creating this organization is to assist in the development of mass media, journalism and freedom of speech and press in the south region.
According to him, an office has already been rented, has been furnished with technical equipment and employees have been hired. K.Ahmadov emphasized that the resource center will cooperate with the Press Council and regional mass media. “This project is a pilot project and experience maintained from this project will be employed to carry out projects to develop the press in other regions,” he said.
