On December 12th, at 10:30 am, Azerbaijan Media Center will host a press conference on the demolition of apartments owned by residents of 2 nineteen-storey buildings in Agil Guliyev Street #5 in Baku. The buildings are being cleared to make room for the construction of a concert hall for the Eurovision 2012 song contest. Residents have not been compensated.
Journalists, human rights defenders, representatives of international organization and diplomatic corps representatives and all interested persons are invited to attend the event.
