ANONYMOUS CALLS MADE TO “OLKE” NEWSPAPER’S EDITORIAL OFFICE

“Olke” Newspaper’s editorial office has received calls from anonymous numbers. The newspaper’s editor-in-chief Rafael Bejanov told this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety.

Bejanov stated that the newspaper staff is concerned about the call made by a woman looking for the author of article entitled “Kamaladdin Heydarov’s staff takes blow.” The article in question was published in today’s edition of the newspaper. Bejanov noted that the unknown woman was also concerned why the article was written under a penname.
“We will appeal to law enforcement organs if the anonymous calls continue,” added Bejanov.
