“Azadlig” newspaper employee Fikret Huseynli is threatened.
Huseynli told the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety that he has been receiving threatening phone calls from different numbers since 10 April, and the callers threaten him with death for writing articles about politics. The journalist stated that he has been insulted in different forms as well. Huseynli considers that the reason for the calls is his critical articles. Although the last call came to his phone yesterday, Huseynli emphasized that he is not going to appeal to law enforcement organs.
