Today, April 9th, Azadlig newspaper correspondant Elmin Hasanli was summonEd the to central Baku City Police Department.
Hasanli spoke with Objective TV:
"Yesterday I received a phone call from a man who introduced himself as an employee of the prosecutor’s office. He requested me to report to the Central Police Department at 10 am, today. My impression was that he was unaware that I am a journalist. He knew my first name, but asked for my surname. As requested, I went to the police office, where I was met by a representative of the prosecutor’s office. He asked me questions about the April 2nd protests. He asked why I was there, and I said that I had been carrying out my professional duty,” said Hasanli.
