Parliamentarian Bakhtiyar Aliyev says he didn’t sue AZTV, only the road police.
This was reported in today’s (28 August) edition of “Baku Khabar” Newspaper.
Baku City’s road police pulled Baktiyar Aliyev’s car over and footage of this was broadcast on AZTV as a traffic violation. Therefore, B.Aliyev sued the Head State Police Department, Baku City Road Police Department and, according to some sources, Azerbaijan TV and Radio Company (AZTV). Yesterday (27 August) a preliminary court hearing was conducted on B.Aliyev’s lawsuit in the Yasamal District Court under the chairmanship of Judge Elchin Gurbanov.
