BAKU RESIDENT’S RIGHT TO APARTMENT VIOLATED

Today, 7 July, in the press center of the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety, ODER organization’s chairman Hasan Hasanov conducted a press conference in connection with violation of Citizen Volobuyeva Lera Anatoliyeva’s right to apartment.

H.Hasanov told the journalists that Volobuyeva Lera Anatoliyeva’s house, which is located in 18 Elchin Azizov, Apt.9, has never been repaired since it was built.
“In January 2008 a written appeal was made to Heydar Aliyev Fund’s Chairperson Mehriban Aliyeva. M.Aliyeva asked the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan Republic to repair this building which was built at the beginning of the 20th century. SOCAR Social Development Department Construction Section has repaired only half of one room. And appeals to higher instances did not give any results,” said Hasan Hasanov.
