A correspondent of Belgian VRT TV channel, which is in Baku to cover the Eurovision song contest, was assaulted, reported www.hln.be news site.
The journalist was attacked by an unknown taxi driver in front of his hotel, apparently following a dispute about the taxi fare. The driver’s punch broke the journalist’s jaw. After first aid treatment, he returned to Belgium.
