“CHAP EVI” PRINTING HOUSE REFUSES TO PRINT “NOTA” NEWSPAPER

“Chap Evi” Printing House refused to print “Nota” Newspaper. “Nota” Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Substitute Sardar Alibeyli told this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety.

“’Chap Evi Printing House head Shahbaz Khuduoglu called on 17 May to tell me that his printing house wouldn’t publish our newspaper because ‘Nota’ Newspaper was listed as a racketeering newspaper by the Press Council,” said Alibeyli, emphasizing that he will appeal to the Binagadi District Court tomorrow (20 May) regarding the Press Council’s inclusion “Nota” Newspaper’s name on the list of the racketeering newspapers.
“Chap Evi” Printing House head Shahbaz Khuduoglu told IRFS that they refused to publish the newspaper on Sunday – a non-working day, not because of the decision of PC. “We have already informed the newspaper’s leadership of this,” said Khuduoglu.
Khudoglu refused to answer a question why other newspapers are published in “Chap Evi” Printing House on non-working days, including Sundays.
