Today the Media Rights Center conducted a press conference in the International Press Center about the contest "Journalist Expertise on Human Rights Conditions" it organized for journalists.
Head of the Media Rights Center Metanet Muslimqizi gave an introductory speech. According to Muslimgizi, TV channels, radio stations, news agencies and print media representatives may participate in the contest, which will take place for 15 February to 15 May.
A panel of judges consisting of seven people will evaluate all submitted articles. Scoring will be based on a 10 point system. Awards will be granted in two categories. In the first category 5 places will be awarded for the quality of the articles, and in the second category 2 places will be awarded according to the quantity of the articles.
