Today, 6 April, in the Sabail District Court, under the chairmanship of Judge Elnur Hasanov, a hearing was held on the lawsuit of Nergiz Jabbarli against the “Television and Radio Broadcasting in Azerbaijan” Closed Shareholder Society.
Nergiz Jabbarli’s Representative Bayram Resulov, and AZTV defense representative Sedreddin Isgenderov participated in the hearing.
The plaintiff’s lawyer B.Rasulov said that signatures in the salary document did not belong to N.Jabbarli, and he filed a motion to submit the original of the table to court, and to assign court examination of the calligraphy and accounting.
Judge E.Hasanov did not fulfill the motion.
The parties then delivered remarks.
Judge E.Hasanov scheduled the next hearing on this case for 7 April at noon to announce the decision on the lawsuit.
The lawsuit stems from AZTV Chairman’s decision (30 April 2009, # 120 k/d) to fire N.Jabbarli and his failure to give neither oral nor written information regarding this. The plaintiff appealed to court seeking to annul this order and to be restored to the same work.
