On May 12th,  from 11:00 to 12.30, Armenia armed forces fired on Sadarak village located in Sadarak district, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic with machine and submachine guns. The opposite side stopped firing after return fire from the National Army. No casualties were reported, Sadarak residents told IRFS.

On the same day, IRFS Nakhcivan reporters Elman Abbasov and Hekimeldostu Mehdiyev visited Sadarak for further  information about the incident.  They visited he houses suffering shot and talked to local residents.
Moreover, reporters had phone conversations with Sadarak District Executive Power Head Abasgulu Abbasov. Instead of clarifying the problem,  the Executive Head threatened the journalists. “Who allowed you to go there? No one opened fire. The people are lying.  Now I will come there and annihilate you, you will not be able to leave Sadarak alive. I am sending police there now,” said the executive head, threatening the journalists.
