“On 11 June I visited Eynulla Fatullayev due to a mass revolt that occurred at Prison #12,” said Elchin Behbudov. “Fatullayev told me that he had already been interrogated by the prison administration regarding the incident and he does not have any connection to it.”
Attempts were made to influence Fatullayev to take part in the incident; however, E. Fatullayev refused to participate, according to E. Behbudov.
On 11 June, in Prison #12, a group of prisoners attempted to conduct a revolt to protest the quality of food and the attitude of prison employees towards the prisoners.
