Yesterday, 4 May, in the Human Rights House, Norwegian journalist and producer Erling Borgen conducted “master class” for journalists. Borgen demonstrated parts from his documentary films and gave information regarding the history and essence of these films. He talked about the work of journalists, his own work principles and rules, the essence of investigative journalism and other issues.
Among the films there were one dedicated to slain Monitor journal editor-in-chief Elmar Huseynov and one dedicated to freedom of speech in Azerbaijan that was named: “In the Shadow of the Statoil.”
At present Borgen is working on a film dedicated to the Editor-in-chief of Gundelik Azerbaydjan and Realniy Azerbaydjan newspapers Eynulla Fatullayev.
