Today, 22 January, the Freedom of Speech Defense Committee conducted a meeting. Provocation against imprisoned Editor-in-chief of Gundelik Azerbaijan and Realniy Azerbaijan Newspapers Eynulla Fatullayev, the issue of imprisoned Azadlig Newspaper Editor-in-chief Ganimat Zahid, imprisoned bloggers Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizade, and other issues concerning civil society were discussed during the event.
The event participants put forth several suggestions to solve these issues. In conclusion they decided that there’s a need for serious effective organizational development within the organization. On 25 January a meeting will be held to solve this issue and take next steps towards solving it.
