The website AzPolitika.info is increasingly under hacker attacks, the website editor Elnur Maharramli told IRFS on July 5. On the eve of presidential election, the authorities ordered to attack the critical news source, the editor claims. According to the chief editor, the hacker attacks on the website kicked off on June 21 is still ongoing.
“The attacks are ceaseless. ICT experts say these hacker attacks are not easy to organize and must cost a fortune. We are sure that their purpose is to destroy our website and not to let it work. We even tried to avoid the attacks by changing our domain to “.org”, but it did not help and after a few hours, AzPolitika.org became the target and server closed down” said Maharramli.
