GUARD PREVENTS “AZADLIG” NEWSPAPER CORRESPONDENT FROM TAKING PHOTOS

On 18 April, “Azadlig” Newspaper correspondent Natig Gulahmadoglu (Adilov) faced pressure while trying to prepare a report on the destruction of a library that belongs to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism located on Nizami Street.

A guard of an airliner company located by the building belonging to the library did not allow the correspondent to take photos. The guard said he was assigned to watch the library also and therefore taking pictures was not allowed there.
The Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety employees were also objected to taking pictures and filming by the employee of security service.
