The European Union called on Azerbaijan authorities to take legal steps in compliance with Azerbaijan’s commitments in connection with the case of Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizade.

On Friday, during the meeting of the OSCE Committee, OSCE US Mission Head Kayl Scott issued a statement regarding the violations of freedom of expression and fundamental human rights in Azerbaijan.

It is said in the statement, “The US is very concerned about the arrest of young bloggers E.Milli and A.Hajizade. We call insistently on Azerbaijan’s government to free E.Milli and A.Hajizade before court trial and to provide them with medical and legal assistance.”
