On June 3rd IRFS employees Rasim Aliyev and Mehman Huseynov were attacked by the police while filming a protest organized by a group of youth fans of Turkish football clubs Besiktas, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce in support of Occupy Gezi protest. The protest was dispersed by the police. Meanwhile Rasim Aliyev was punched by the police who also seized his mobile phone. Although Mehman Huseynov managed to avoid the attack, he was intimidated by the policemen for filming the moments when Aliyev was beaten. The police pushed Huseynov violently threatening to arrest him.
