“KANAL-35” TV GETS LICENSE IN NAKHCHIVAN

The TV and Radio Council granted “Kanal-35” TV a license to operate in Azerbaijan’s exclave Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

According to lent.az, council member Sahil Tahirli reported that, using its right to obtain a license without participating in the contest, “Kanal-35” TV appealed for a license and was granted a license according to legislation.
It is also noted in the information that Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic State TV and Radio Broadcasting Committee was the first to utilize this right.
The TV and Radio Committee was created in 2007 in this region. Currently three TV stations and two local radio stations operate in Nakhchivan.
