The Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety (IRFS) previously appealed to the Justice Ministry to obtain a list of registered print press institutions.
In its response, ministry reported that the list will be placed in the ministry’s website www.justice.gov.az.
A long time has passed since this response was sent by ministry, however the list still has not published, therefore last month IRFS appealed to the Justice Ministry again about this matter. In response it received a letter yesterday (11 August) signed by the Chief Deputy of the Justice Ministry Registration and Notary Head Office Mehman Soltanov. In the letter it is noted that the list of press publications to be placed on the Justice Ministry’s website is nearly ready.
