This information was given to the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety by the clerk's office of Binegedi District Prosecutor's Office today. To clear up things, we tried to contact the clerk's office of Police Department #7 and the department's investigator Elnur Aliyev, but the calls went unanswered.
Khalil told IRFS that he doesn't exactly know where the material is either. He also saif that Press Council Chairman Aflatun Amashov contacted him today and told him that he will take the matter into consideration.
Amashov told IRFS, "Today we contacted all the organs that are engaged in this problem – the police department, the prosecutor's office and the heads of these organs. They all said that this problem is at the center of attention, and the people who violated the law will be punished."
