As of 3 July, Milaz.info website (first military website in the Southern Caucasus) has ceased its operations due to unidentified reasons.
According to site director Uzeyir Jafarov, on 3 July at approximately 4:00 p.m. hackers began to attack Milaz.info website and the site’s work was completely stopped after one hour.
“Although an immediate appeal was made to “NextPoint” LTD and “BİZİMHOST.İNFO” LTD, which provide the websites activity, they have not been able to investigate the reasons up to this day,” said Jafarov. “Both LTDs relate the incident to hacker attacks and they do not make any attempts to solve this problem.”
Emphasizing that he considers this incident as unfounded pressure against them and the website, U.Jafarov asked the relevant governmental organs, NGOs, international organizations to help in identifying the issue and solving the problem.
