Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety Chairman Emin Huseynov’s health remains poor. In particular, Huseynov told IRFS that he is still suffering from headaches.
He continues to receive both medical treatment and to undergo tests.
According to Huseynov, today in the Centralized Emergency Medical Assistance Hospital, Ministry of Interior Internal Investigations Department employee Farhad Azimov took written statements from Huseynov, and two other IRFS employees – Rasim Aliyev and Mirrahim Hasanov – who were with Huseynov on the day he was injured at the hands of police.
Azimov originally came to get the statement from Huseynov yesterday; however Huseynov had the process delayed until today, as he was tired from a number of medical procedures.
Today Azerbaijan Democratic Party leader Sardar Jalaloglu and other representatives from the same party visited Huseynov in the hospital.
