On 20 September, imprisoned “Bizim yol”Newspaper employee Mushfig Huseynov was visited by his relative Javidan Huseynov in prison#2.The Institute for Reporters` Freedom and Safety was told this by Javidan Huseynov.
According to Javidan Huseynov, Mushfig Huseynov does not have any complaints about prison conditions or his health.
Mushfig Huseynov was convicted under Article 311.1 (receiving of a bribe) of the Criminal Code and on 21 January 2008 was sentenced by Grave Crimes Court Judge Jamal Ramazanov to 6 years of imprisonment, followed by 2 year ban on his writing activity. Mushfig Huseynov`s sentence was reduced to one year by the Baku Appellate Court
