A new non-governmental organization called “Independent Media Institute” (IMI) has been founded to take up issues related to media.
“Yeni Yol” Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Alishir Ahad was elected chairman of the organization.
“Currently there are a number of problems in press. We aim to work in this direction,” it is stated in the information disseminated by IMI.
