New regional TV channel EITV began operating in Yevlakh region. The Head of Law and License Department of the National TV and Radio Council Tohid Aliyev told the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety
that the TV channel will broadcast sixteen hours a day, with news programs aired twice a day. According to Tohid Aliyev, EITV won the tender conducted by NTRC six months ago and has received a license.
