Representatives of the OSCE, European Commission, U.S., Norwegian and German embassies in Azerbaijan participated in the meeting. The diplomats also looked at the penalty rooms of the prison.
According to the first secretary of the Norwegian Embassy Richard Scarboro, the meeting, which continued for two hours, was held in a separate room. “Eynulla Fatullayev said he does not have any complaints and hopes to be released after the European Court of Human Rights issues its decision on his case,” said Scarboro. “He asked foreign organizations to follow his case.”
