Yesterday, 16 January, employees from the ombudsman office visited several Justice Ministry Prisons. They visited imprisoned Editor-in-chief of “Gundalik Azerbaijan” and “Realniy Azerbaijan” newspapers Eynulla Fatulalyev in Prison #12.
The Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety was told this by Ombudsman Office Press Service. In information disseminated by the ombudsman’s office it was noted that E. Fatullayev does not have any complaints about the attitude of the prison leadership and staff towards him, or about prison conditions. Fatullayev is able to read any newspaper he wants.
