Abbasov reported this to IRFS.  According to Abbasov, he was invited to Binagadi District Police Department Police Unit #40 yesterday at 11:30 pm.

“This person told police insistently that I along with my brothers caught him on the street and took him to police station,” said Abbasov. “When I told police, ‘Why didn’t you come and do an examination in my house? His finger prints should be on my iron windowsills and some other things. There are witnesses,’ that person started to beg, ‘I made a mistake, forgive me.” The police have identified the person who attacked Abbasov’s house as Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Babak region resident Ali Guliyev.

According to Abbasov, since the incident was publicized and Internal Ministry intervened, the police will conduct a thorough investigation into the case to determine whether the incident was a coincidence or was somehow premeditated.
