Press Council chairman Aflatun Amashov reported the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety that, the Council has started to study paper market for examination of price increase information.
The Council chairman claims that the price increase of the newspapers has connection with increase of newspaper circulation and publication of new papers pre election. He also added that, the goal of this examination is to determine the influence of price increase to the newspapers. At the end the Council chairman noted that, this matter will be discussed in the first day of this week.
