“Yeni Nesil” Journalist Union revealed monitoring results of 17 September-2 October 2008 on the electronic and print media. According to Turan News Agency, the monitoring is being carried out within the framework of “Free and Fair Elections” project.
According to the results, within indicated dates TV channels paid little attention to the activity of political actors. YAP representatives were given more space compared to other actors. ANS was more neutral at this point. It is also noted that the attention of TV channels for election was reduced compared to previous weeks.
