Rumors that Press Council is being kicked out of it office are not true. Press Council Chairman Aflatun Amashov told the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety that they have not received any written or verbal instructions to vacate the building.

“We moved to this building at the relevant order of the president,” said Amashov adding that the Council has been operating in this building for three years and such an incident is unlikely.
