Today, 24 July, in the press center of Norway Human Rights House, satiric journalist Sakit Zahidov held a presentation ceremony for his poem disc dedicated to the arrest of “Alumni Network” Youth Organization Coordinator, ANTV Online TV Leader Emin Milli and one of “OL” Youth Organization’s coordinators, well-known video-blogger Adnan Hajizade.
Sakit Zahidov said that the disc contains satiric poems dedicated to the young bloggers.
“In preparing and presenting this disc our aim is to support them morally and to inform the public of the real reason of their arrest. I want to publish a book composed of these poems,” said Sakit Zahidov emphasizing that he intends to prepare the second set of the discs dedicated to this topic.
Then US Embassy representative Dmitri Dorokhoski, Defense Movement for Youth in Azerbaijan Member Ramin Hajili, media representatives Seymur Bayjan, Khalid Bahadir spoke about restrictions against freedom of speech and evaluated pressure against the youth as regression of education, and emphasized that this situation forms negative opinion about Azerbaijan in the area of internal and foreign policy.
