“On that day I was detained by police and was taken to the Khatai District police department #37, and then to the Khatai District Court. Judge Leyla Talibova issued a decision to fine me 50 AZN without providing me with any explanation,” added Heydarova.
S.Heyderova noted that the Presidential Security Service employee came to the court and demanded for a promise that she wouldn’t write a letter to the president. “Then that employee brought me home. I don’t remember what I wrote at that time; they called an ambulance because I began to feel bad in the court, and they gave me an injection.”
Despite everything S.Heyderova said that she will meet with the president and complain to him regarding the events that have happened because of Vagif Akhundov’s suspicious actions.
Citizen Sayyara Heydarova was sentenced to 2 years 7 months and 15 days of corrective labor with one year conditional imprisonment (probation) under articles 221.1, 221.1 and 221.3 of the Criminal Code. The Appellate Court upheld the decision of the Surakhani District Court on 10 November.
