State Employment Agency to rent office from family of former head of Alternative Energy Agency

The State Employment Agency (SEA) has signed a two-year lease agreement with “Macaz Construction” LLC, the unified portal of public e-procurements says.

The company has been selected through a tender. “Macaz Construction” LLC will pay AZN 743,800 ($437,500) for rent of 2,300 sq m of premises. The rent rate per square meter will be 13 manats (including VAT), the press service of SEA told Turan.

Changes in the structure of the Agency were made in March this year. “Regional employment offices in line with the new economic zones and 3 new central offices were established. In order to organize the activities of the newly created central branch of accounting, assignment, monitoring and evaluation, as well as 5 departments of the Agency staff, there arose the need for new premises for them,” the SEA reports.

These structures will be housed in a fully renovated office building of “Macaz Construction” located at 27-29 Mehdi Mehdizadeh street, Baku.

“Macaz Construction” LLC was founded in November 2009 by Anar Fizuli oğlu Babayev. Local media outlets claim that the company is currently owned by Akim Badal oğlu Badalov, former director of the liquidated state agency for alternative and renewable energy sources, and his family members.
