Today, 27 February, in the Narimanov District Court, under the chairmanship of Judge Sevinj Aliyeva, a hearing took place on the lawsuit of "Tezadlar" Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Asif Marzili against Education Minister Misir Mardanov for not responding to an information inquiry.
Only the plaintiff participated in the hearing.
A.Marzili told the judge that the information inquiry was responded in the form of a letter and this did not satisfy them. Judge Sevinj Aliyeva suggested that the plaintiff contact the Education Ministry again and demand that they respond to the information inquiry in a satisfactory manner.
The next hearing on this case is scheduled to take place on 3 March.
"Tezadlar" Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Asif Marzili addressed an information inquiry to Education Minister Misir Mardanov on 20 November 2008. The inquiry was not responded to, and therefore, Marzili appealed to court and asked the court to adopt a decision to respond to the inquiry.
