ANS TV Producers for Fictional and Publicist Programs Saadat Mammadova, Shahin Asadov and Gulnara Bagirova were dismissed from their jobs.
ANS Company Groups Vice-president Mirshahin Agayev told this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety.
According to Agayev, on 26 February, during a one-minute remembrance for Khojali tragedy victims that was broadcast live on ANS, the journalists behaved in a manner dishonoring the memory of the victims. Therefore, they were dismissed from their jobs. IRFS attempted to contact the producers to receive information regarding the incident; however, we could not find their contacts.
