On August 22 the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety organized a training course on digital media ethics and legal regulations for youth.
The training was held with financial assistance form IREX and IMS. Young citizen journalists from Baku and the regions of Azerbaijan attended the course.
The training was run by IRFS chairman Emin Huseynov, IMS program manager Gulnara Akhundova and IRFS staffer Gunay Ismayilova. During the first session training participants were informed on digital media and civil journalism ethics. The second session involved a broad debate on digital media law and regulations, and relevant international practices. The course participants were given some practical tasks during the training.
