YOUTH CONDUCTS PROTEST ACTION AGAINST FLOWER HOLIDAY

Today, 10 May, a group of youth conducted an action in the Seaside Park (Boulevard) to protest against Flower Holiday.

Police was not able to interfere in the action, which took place at 7:30 p.m. Over the course of 3-4 minutes the action participants chanted slogans, “No to Flower Holiday!” The youth, who believed that the action was a success, ran away quickly while chanting their slogans.

Every year, on 10 May – the birthday of the late President Heydar Aliyev, Flower Holiday is celebrated in Azerbaijan.
