Today, 10 February, in the Baku Appellate Court, under the chairmanship of Judge Aygun Abdullayeva, the appeal of Center for Assistance to Free Economy Head Zohrab Ismayil against the decision adopted by Narimanov District Court on his lawsuit against the Education Ministry was partially fulfilled.
The judge issued a decision to consider the failure of the ministry to answer to the information inquiry addressed to the Education Ministry unfounded and required the Education Ministry to respond to the information inquiry.
The judge did not allow the Institute for Reporters` Freedom and Safety employees to take pictures or video in the hearing.
Center for Assistance to Free Economy Head Zohrab Ismayil appealed to the Narimanov District Court regarding the failure of the Education Ministry to answer to the information inquiry on the expenditure of means allocated for building of schools. On 10 March, 2009, the court did not fulfill the lawsuit.
