According to APA, Parliament Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) co-rapporteurs on Azerbaijan Andreas Herkel and Yevgeniya Jivkova met with National Television and Radio Council Chairman Nushiravan Meherremli.
Maharramli told APA that contradictions in Azerbaijan's TV sector were discussed during the meeting. Information was exchanged with PACE co-rapporteurs on creating an equal environment for opposition leaders on TV channels during the run-up to the presidential elections and ensuring speech freedom during the election period.
