Today, 8 March, in front of the US Embassy in Baku, the United Azerbaijani Youth Organization held a protest action against the ratification of the draft project regarding the recognition of “Armenian genocide” in the US House of Representatives’ Foreign Relations Committee.
The participants chanted slogans such as: “No to Armenian genocide”, “Justice for Khojali”, “Azerbaijan-Turkey”, “Either Garabag (Karabakh) or Death” for about five minutes.
On 5 March, a resolution to recognize the Armenian bloodshed in the Ottoman Empire in 1915 as the Armenian genocide passed by 23 votes against 22 votes in the UA House of Representative’s Foreign Relations Committee.
