WORKING GROUP DISCUSSES RELEASE OF IMPRISONED JOURNALISTS

Today the Working Group on Human Rights, including both human rights advocates and government representatives, conducted a meeting.

During the meeting human rights advocates read a statement about the release of imprisoned journalists in the meeting. Human Rights advocate Saida Gojamanli told the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety, "We emphasized the importance of releasing these people, and the Pardon Commission is currently engaged in this issue."
